Mazda 2: Oil Control Valve (OCV)
OIL CONTROL VALVE (OCV) INSPECTION
Coil Resistance Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the OCV connector.
3. Measure the coil resistance between terminals A and B using a tester.

- If not within the specification, replace the OCV. (See OIL CONTROL VALVE
(OCV) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

Wheel and Tire Installation
1. When installing the wheels and tires, tighten the wheel nuts in a criss-cross
pattern to the
following tightening torque.

The steering column (EPS motor) temperature increases directly after
continuous
turning of the steering mechanism which could cause burns if it is touched.
Before
performing any servicing, verify that the steering column has cooled off.
